Notably, it was one of the fist projects StoneSet consequently went on to undertake with accomplished artist and architectural visionary David Cianci from Artscape consulting. David was the designer of the Wilga Park Mandala decorative glass paving motif, completed in 2019 which featured a dozen different shades of tumbled recycled glass, designed and installed by StoneSets porous and decorative stone paving expert team.
A focus on modern lines, vibrant red highlights and and emphasis on space and recreation saw the project was awarded best small scale commercial development in the lower hunter region at the urban design awards.
The tumbled recycled red glass motif surrounding the central tree was framed by ‘charcoal‘ colour resin bound natural stone. The entire foyer was fully porous paving installed on 10-04-2014 involving a 1 day install, covering 104 square meters of resin bound stone giving the exposed aggregate look, at an average depth of 25mm.
