Named in honour of the Italian marble used to construct a war memorial ‘Digger’ statue in the Queensland town of Bundaberg, this off-white beauty is most often employed in decorative landscaping of foot trafficked areas – patios, pool surrounds and pathways. Bundaberg’s white uniformity drives contrast and order for darkly clad homes whilst complementing the creams and yellows in surrounding sandstone retaining walls. Similarly, its brilliance is prefect for pool surrounds – a smaller 3mm blend channels pristine white beach sand whist its cooling reflectivity extends the time of the day when it’s suitable for bare feet. Where whitest-of-white stone is not suitable for outdoor paving, Bundaberg’s off-white profile marries the pristine with the practical.
