First StoneSet videos on You Tube July '10
After many requests for a demonstration of the permeability of StoneSet we have posted a couple of videos to show just that.
They are a little crude, but show the quick rate that the water passes through StoneSet. All grades shown are suitable for vehicular traffic, so these sorts of rates can be achieved for driveways, car parks or any water sensitive urban design.

New Zealand office now open May '10
We are delighted to announce that the StoneSet NZ office is now open.
Based in Queenstown, the New Zealand office will cover the whole of New Zealand with the aid of appointed installers in Christchurch, Auckland and Wellington.
A new page featuring the New Zealand product range will be up shortly.

DesignEX show review and forthcoming shows April '10
Promising to be the ultimate showcase for all innovative and sustainable products, DesignEX created the perfect arena for StoneSet to shine!
There was a lot to see at the show and the StoneSet stand had plenty to offer with a permeability display and live installation demonstration, that ensured a constant crowd. Jamie Durie's "Outdoor Room" feature, from which he gave a daily talk, was another source of excitement so we're thrilled that StoneSet was used in this project.
Thank you to all who visited our stand at the DesingnEX show. It was a great 3 days, which generated numerous interesting conversations. We look forward to working with many of you on some exciting new projects.

Next up for the StoneSet road-show is an appearance on the Atlantis Water Management stand at the Sydney Home Show on Darling Harbour. This takes place from the 13th - 16th May and is closely followed by the Civinex where we have our own stand for the 20th and 21st May. We are pleased to announce that we will have a presence at this year's Hotel Hospitality + Design show. Not an obvious show for StoneSet to appear at, but as well as supporting the feature area for "a hotel room of the future" it is also an opportunity for us to get down to Victoria. Expo season starts with feature at Sydneys Easter Show March '10
StoneSet will begin a busy Easter period by helping on a stand at this years
Easter show.
We are offering our assistance to some TAFE students by providing free material and on site training as an introduction to the product, whilst paving a small amount of the display, located in the Flower Garden section of the show. For more information please contact us.
StoneSet will then be exhibiting at this years Designex/Form & Function exhibition on stand 1870, if you would like to visit please call us for some complimentary tickets or click on the banner below.
We will be located next to the feature stand, 'The Outdoor Room' by Jamie Durie and will be available to discuss our products generally or even go through specific projects if you require us to. If you would like to arrange a specific time to discuss any projects please contact us to arrange this and we will make sure someone is available for you.
The display is in the late stage of development but we are pleased to announce there will be a demo area on the stand, so you will be able to StoneSet as it is being installed.

New affordable porous product January '10
StoneSet have always offered the best in resin bound paving, applicable for any situation from car parks and driveways to tree surround and footpaths.
StoneSet has been working hard with our resin suppliers to develop with a new grade of resin which is as strong and durable as our current range and still offers the great benefit of permeability, but now offering even better value, not just in the short term, but with the return of whole life value.
The range is limited to a few products, but this is growing. As of January 2010 we can now offer 6mm Tan and 6mm hill Grey, installed directly onto a pre-prepared roadbase for use on a busy urban pathway, car park or driveway at an affordable price.

Setting the Standard November '09
Creating perfection in paradise: StoneSet transform the grounds of a historic mansion in Sydney.
November has been a busy month for StoneSet with a noticeable demand from the domestic market. Of the jobs completed, the transformation of grounds surrounding a historic mansion stood out as being one of the most impressive.
This stunning early 20th century building is now made up of four impressive apartments. The grounds surrounding the mansion were previously made up of loose red gravel. Although the colour worked wonderfully with the architecture, the gravel was creating a lot of dust and was beginning to look tired. The residents wanted to freshen up the grounds and bring them up to the same standard as their exquisite apartments.
The aggregate chosen for this project was 6mm Terracotta. The colour was not dissimilar to the previous loose gravel but as with all StoneSet products the paving was fully bound to create a seamless, smooth surface. The warm colour of this stone worked beautifully with it's surroundings; amongst the green of the gardens and the blue backdrop of the harbour, the StoneSet paving looked completely at home in paradise. Another spectacular result.

StoneSet are pleased to announce that we are now officially licensees of the Australia Made campaign.
At StoneSet we pride ourselves on the use of locally sourced stone to ensure our paving products are not only manufactured in Australia, but created using Australian aggregate. We now proudly display the Australia Made logo on our website and literature to highlight our continuing dedication to using and creating Australian products.
All our paving is available thoughout Australia and New Zealand.
Tree Surrounds installed in time for celebrations august '09 
August is the month Kiama celebrates it's 150th anniversary. After planning a host of community events, Kiama was preparing to look it's best with the tree surrounds along the main street highlighted as an area of improvement.
8mm Terracotta was picked by the council maintenance division as the material of choice, singled out for its natural terracotta red colour, which was in keeping with the block paving across the pathway, and the closer texture than typical tree surround mixes.
The installation was completed in two days and disruption to surrounding businesses was minimal as
the material was ready to walk on within 4 hours.
As the trees have had many years to establish in the pits, the StoneSet was installed directly on top of the exisiting soil, again benefiting from minimal disruption and preparation.

Western Australia office now open july '09
Following a successful show at this years Landscape Expo in Perth, StoneSet are happy to announce the opening of our Perth based office servicing the whole of Western Australia.
Because of the obvious geographical difficulties of servicing WA from our head office in New South Wales, the opening of the new office signifies our determination to maintain the higest level of service to the whole of Australia.
Having an operation in WA will help us when sourcing local aggregates, an important factor in many designs as well as having a positive impact on our carbon footprint by reducing the need to transport materials.
