The extensive garden area surrounding the property enables the homeowners to really enjoy both the wonderful Australian weather and it's spectacular scenery.

Situation With large areas of grassland, our customer was battling with the weeds that persisted on growing through. And on wetter days the ground was becoming muddy; stopping the homeowners from being able to enjoy the benefits of their picturesque garden. Why Stoneset? StoneSet offers a vast range of natural aggregate and recycled glass so customers have endless choices to suit their design needs. In this case, the homeowners selected two Australian sourced stones, which worked beautifully in the natural environment of their garden.
StoneSet is very easy to lay and offers the possibilities of incorporating shapes and patterns into projects. At this particular site you can see how StoneSet has been used to create diamonds within the pathway and a border, which provides a wonderful contrasting colour between the main path and the flowerbeds. Homeowners can stand out from the crows by creating something unique and different.
With weeds posing problems for homeowners looking for a low maintenance garden, StoneSet is the perfect way to eradicate the problem without compromising the aesthetics of your grounds. StoneSet guarantees that weeds will not push through to the surface and if you do get any seedlings that settle atop the pathway, they can simply be brushed away.

StoneSet is also fully permeable so any rainfall will pervade immediately, helping to eliminiate problems with puddling and storm water run off. And StoneSet's resin technology means the aggregate is fully bound so there's no loose gravel, no dirt and dust, just beautiful, smooth surfaces, which not only look fantastic but feel great underfoot too! Solution StoneSet used two types of aggregate to create the pathways for this garden; 6mm Carnarvon Quarry and 6mm Carnarvon River Shingle. The team at StoneSet WA primed the site by removing exisiting material such as mulch and weeds and then prepared the area with a build up of 150mm worth of 14mm road base. The StoneSet was then laid over the top at a 25mm depth and smoothed to a seamless finish. A team of three completed the job, which totalled 100 square metres, in three days.
Result StoneSet fully met the needs of the customer, creating a beautiful paved area that solved the problems with both the weeds and the mud. The homeowner was so happy with the finished result that she's already planning her next project!
